Modern Maternity

Can you believe this gorgeous hottie is less then 5 weeks from her due date?  (I know--jealous much?  Me too!)  I had such a great time with Mandy and her husband, Kevin.  --Not only are they just a gorgeous couple--they were up for anything and just had fun with the session.  We tried to include lots of personal touches like their nursery, their first 'children' (the kind with fur) and the front door of their brand spankin' new house. I absolutely LOVE the results of our very 'non-maternity', maternity session!  I can not wait to meet 'Baby R' very, very soon! (stay tuned to know if it's a boy or a girl....its still a secret:-) 

E-session give-a-way!

Over the next few months I will be continuing to build my portrait/wedding website.  (you know how much I love me a gorgeous wedding:-) That said, I am offering a chance for you (or someone you know) to participate in an engagement session give-a-way!  

I am seeking a couple who would like to do a unique, outdoorsy/wintry session. Anyone interested can email me their contact info. and a snapshot to casmooney@yahoo.com and I will choose a winner on January 1.  (the only 'requirement' is that the couple be within a 30-mile radios of Charlotte< Nc (or willing to trave; to Charlotte)  and be up for a fun and relaxed session.)   And, I will of course post the results here...:-)

Merry Christmas 2009!

Merry Christmas!  What a more perfect post for Christmas AM than the beautiful Shearer babies!  I have been saving this session's images as they just seemed so appropriate for today.

  I was able to spend some time with Max and Wells in hopes of capturing baby Well's birth announcement--all we wanted was a moment with she and her sweet big brother Max.  (and we worked for it! :-)  I included a few 'outtakes' as they were just too funny as well as the 'final product' of Miss Wellesley Courtland Shearer's birth annoucement.  Awww...swwet babies!

Last Holiday Session of 2009

Meet the Gorgeous Gelting Family!  It never ceases to amaze me how small the world really is.  I had the pleasure of working with a former sorority sister of mine and her family based on another 'sister' of ours seeing my work on facebook and letting her know about me and the fact I lived in the same city...how cool is that? (Thanks Amy:-)  It was great too see Ann and meet her beautiful family.  --Baby Chase is about as cute as they come.  (and their first born, pup Josie, made for some hilarious moments)  Thank you Geltings  It was great to be able to do this!

Springfield Dairy Barn is Beautiful! (and so is the Holifield Family)

If you have never seen the 'Springfield Dairy Barn' in Fort Mill, SC (I had not) it is gorgeous!  Lots of horses out for a stroll, beautiful old buildings, winding pathways and just a hint of fog/mist in the AM.  I was lucky enough to spend a few hours with the Holifield Fmaily who had recenlty moved to Ft. Mill from TX--and though MICHIGAN fans (I will not remind them of the score that played out later that day:-) They were such a joy to meet.  Their eldest had such a little mind of her own (as seen in several shots where she wants to be off on her own) and baby girl--a hilarious 'crinkley' smile when giggling.  Thank you so much Holifield's!  Hope to see you again at baby girls 1-year mark!

The Lovely Laurenzi's

Spent a little time with the Laurenzi Family this past weekend.  Though little Nicholas may not have been his 'smiley' self...I think we still got some really great shots. (and he did sneak in a few smiles)  I l-ov-e the first shot (Catherine...I am so partial to this shot--your eyes look awesome:-) It was great meeting you all and can not wait to see you again when the little guy is up-and-running!

Meet Sweet Caroline~

So I had given you a little sneak preview of Sweet Caroline and then I hit major holiday backlog!  (but I am almost caught up so don't you worry:-)  I had such a great time photographing this sweet babe and her her equally sweet parents.  (And..we got to try out the sweet knitted hats I bought on Etsey--to die for, huh?)  There were just so many adorable shots of Miss Caroline I had a hard time narrowing it down...  These, however, are my personal faves!
