28th Ro Grand Opening

Here are a few shots I took for our friends over at  28th Ro (the brand-new condos over in NODA) for their grand opening event last weekend.  Food, music, give-a-ways and some of the best views of the Charlotte skyline were enjoyed by all!

Meet Ella Grace!

Though the weather was less than cooperative, Ella Grace was sweet as can be.  (she allowed us multiple outfit changes--even the little chicken Halloween costume--without losing her cool:-)  Mommy and Daddy helped quite a bit with lots of 'pretty baby' talk and and an occasional 'catch' as little Miss Ella is just starting to sit up on her own so a few 'tip-overs' took place. :-)  Thank you so much Driscoll's!  (Big thanks to Sophie the squeek toy too..)

Sneak Peek 2

We are off to the NC mountains this AM and will not have time to get through all of the shots of Miss Ella Grace and her lovely parents for a few days but wanted to post another sneak peek' of her amazing blue eyes. (no folks--there was no photo shop done on these baby blues!  Straight up God-given:-)

Though an ugly and rainy AM...Miss Ella Grace gave some beautiful, big smiles to light up the morning.  (more pics to follow but just had to show this one off:-)  How cute is she???

Holiday Cards Examples

Several folks have asked to see an example of our holiday cards. (see below) There are 20 options to choose from and both the back and front text/pictures are custom for each client. (You will also have the option to choose coordinating items such... as matching return labels, pre-printed envelopes and gift tags.)  The cards are 5X7 flat and are printed on the front and back and come with white envelopes envelopes.

Looking for 3 pint-sized holiday models:-)

While looking through a gorgeous online boutique I stumbled across 3 charming, handmade baby hats I would love to be able to shoot some cutiepies in for use during the holidays on the websites, flyers etc.

That said--for the first (3) folks to book a session in response to this blog post (newborn to 6 months so the hats will fit:-) I will offer a half-priced session fee and your little one keeps the sweet hat too in 'exchange' for my having adorble shots to use!

Our 'Next Mayor' (?) and Family

I had the priveledge of shooting the Lassiter family a few weeks back as their sons were in town briefly for the primaries.  They were looking for very 'traditional' shots (I know, I know--not my style:-) for campaign literature and holiday cards and had about 15 minutes before heading off to the campaign office for primary night.  They were a very warm family and I enjoyed my time with them especailly after the 'formal' shots when we headed to the office for the election night excitement as the winning results were announced....(which IS much more my 'style.'  Big thanks to my friend Stephen for referring me to the campaign...you rock.)  See next post for the primary party.
